Security
Secure transactions
Online transactions are safe and secure with ICAS. The security of personal and credit card information is of the highest priority and ICAS uses the latest security technology from Verisign to ensure that both payment information and personal details are encrypted for safe use over the Internet.
The ICAS web site uses a software security concept known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. This is an industry standard internet method which takes personal information and card details and encrypts it, making it safe from fraud and hacking.
ICAS uses 128 bit SSL encryption which is the most commonly used commercial security method available today for secure online e-commerce transactions. Look out for the “lock” icon on the browser’s status bar, this is a sign that your information is secure during transmission.
We also recommend that you either upgrade your browser to the latest available as the later browsers have the most up-to-date encryption capabilities or alternatively upgrade your current browser strength to 128 bit as this will ensure compatibility with the ICAS site.
