The Carbon Trust is a not-for-profit company providing specialist support to help business and the public sector boost business returns by cutting carbon emissions, saving energy and commercialising low carbon technologies.
The Carbon Trust also provides an accreditation scheme. The Carbon Trust Standard is awarded to organisations that measure, manage and reduce their carbon footprint.
The Energy Saving Trust
The Energy Saving Trust provides a range of resources to help organisations reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
The Energy Saving Trust is funded by the UK government, devolved governments and the private sector.
Zero Waste Scotland
Zero Waste Scotland works with businesses, communities, individuals and local authorities to help them reduce waste, recycle more and use resources sustainably. The programme is funded by the Scottish Government to support delivery of its Zero Waste Plan.
Zero Waste Scotland provides free confidential advice and support to all sizes of business, through a combination of online resources and hands-on support.
WRAP
WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) works in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to help businesses and individuals reap the benefits of reducing waste, develop sustainable products and use resources in an efficient way.
Established as a not-for-profit company in 2000, WRAP is backed by government funding from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Forum for the Future
Forum for the Future's role is to help organisations find their way to a sustainable and successful future. They help businesses and public service providers to understand and manage the risks that change will bring, to find new opportunities in tackling global challenges, to implement their own commitments to social and environmental responsibility, and to work with others to overcome barriers to action. They then share what has been learned to help others work towards a more sustainable society.

The UK Climate Projections (UKCP09) provide climate information designed to help those needing to plan how they will adapt to a changing climate. The data is focussed on the UK, and is free of charge.
The Stern Report on the Economics of Climate Change
The Stern Report is a 700 page report delivering the conclusions of an independent review commissioned by the government and led by economist Nicholas Stern. The report discusses the effect of climate change on the global economy.
