ICAS has been working in partnership with the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) for a number of years and has developed an accelerated course of study for ICAS Members who wish to gain the ACTs Associate Membership (AMCT) qualification.
The fast track scheme
The fast track scheme offers a great opportunity for CAs to develop practical skills in treasury, risk and corporate finance. It is an attractive option for many CAs to consider in terms of CPD and to further their professional development.
Treasury management skills are increasingly being seen as business drivers. Globally recognised as a leading qualification in treasury and risk management, the AMCT gives financial professionals a thorough, pertinent understanding of the issues surrounding such an important area. By combining the AMCT with your CA, you will be ideally placed for the most senior roles in corporate finance.
Automatic exemptions from AMCT stage one are available for qualified accountants from IFAC member bodies. As a CA you may benefit from a reduced corporate finance and funding paper and shorter exam at stage three.
