  • Services Exclusively for Members

Members have access to a range of databases including EBSCO Business Source Corporate, CCH Online, LexisNexis Butterworths Online and Factiva. These provide a variety of information from eJournals to engagement letters to tax and accountancy annuals to company information. The trained Information Service staff can search these on members' behalf and quickly retrieve relevant, high quality information, saving members time that could have been wasted carrying out internet searches for unreliable information.

Members can now keep up-to-date with their reading without leaving their desks with the new e-books collection. All titles can be read onscreen and many can also be downloaded and read off-line on laptop or many mobile devices. An A-Z list of the e-books is available and the collection will continue to grow.

The Information Service uses the excellent database EBSCO Business Source Corporate to produce 'CA Knowledge' exclusively for members each month. This digest provides direct links to the best news and analysis of business, finance and accountancy to help members stay up-to-date with developments in the profession and in other areas.

Members also have access to company and sector profiles containing information about a wide range of companies and industry sectors worldwide. This information is available on EBSCO Business Source Corporate.

Information Service staff can also provide a small number of Capital Gains Tax requests covering from1982/83 onwards and Dividend & Interest requests covering from 1995/96 onwards. Historical and current share price requests can also be answered as can requests for P/E ratios. Contact the Information Service to find out more.
