I am glad to say that despite the ongoing economic gloom, here in England and Wales ICAS has continued to prosper. New technical and social events have attracted good member numbers and re runs of tried and tested events like 'Dover House - Meet the President' attracted record numbers.

Whilst sadly two of our stalwart committee members have resigned, due to work commitments, we have been able to replace them with two young members who will bring new enthusiasm and ideas into our discussions.
The study, chaired by Jock Lennox, into the views that England and Wales members have of the quality of the services provided by ICAS is nearing completion. The conclusions and recommendations have been presented to Council's December meeting and a detailed plan will be put in to action in the New Year. A big thank you to all of those members who took the time to help us with our review.
The new ICAS logo and website have just been launched and details of our proposed events for the first six months of 2012 will be accessible through the England & Wales section of the website. Log on and give it a try.
