ICAS invites you, as one of its newest members, to the Annual Admission Ceremony to celebrate your admission to membership of ICAS.
The Annual Admission Ceremony will be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), located in the heart of the city’s financial district.

Arrival & Security
In view of the
large number of new members and their guests attending, please arrive at the EICC (venue map above) in Morrison Street, Edinburgh no later than 10am and report to the Institute’s registration
desk from where you will be given your seat number. It is very important to “check in” before
proceeding to your seat. We would ask you to be in
your allocated seat by 10.45 am. Your guests may sit in any non-reserved area
of the Auditorium.
Dress
Dress code for
those receiving Certificates is “business” and on this occasion the kilt is
entirely appropriate.
Programme
Registration will be open from 10am on Saturday 27 April 2013.
The programme for
the Ceremony, which starts at 11.00am, will
be held in the Pentland Auditorium, is as follows:
- Welcome
and address by President
- Presentation
of Certificates of Membership
- Address
by Principal Guest
A drinks
reception for you and your guests will follow from approximately 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
EICC arrangements
The EICC is
equipped to allow disabled access (if this is required, it would be helpful to
know in advance – please inform me).
NO flash photography is allowed in the Auditorium.
Photographic Service
Success Photography has been appointed to attend the Ceremony to provide a photographic
service for the occasion. They will take
“at the moment of presentation” photographs and offer a studio service before
and after the Ceremony. While it would
be helpful to the photographers if you place and paid for your order in advance
of the Ceremony, it will be possible to order on the day. This will obviously take time away from the
important social side of proceedings. If

Photography studios will be open in the EICC (registration on ground floor)
beginning at 9.30am and continue
throughout the day.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi will be available at the venue using the username: ICAS and the Password: 2013. Don't forget to share your experiences of the day using #ICASclassof2013 on Twitter and lookout for our Facebook competition.
Prizegiving Lunch
Prizewinners and their guests have been invited to attend the lunch as complimentary guests of ICAS. The lunch will run from 1.30pm – 3pm in the Lomond Suite.
