Tayside Area Committee
The Tayside Area Committee runs a number of events throughout the year aimed at bringing together members from across the region. Events range from informal social activities to technical updates. Members from other areas are welcome to attend, and all events are open to CAs whether working, on career breaks or retired.
The events provide an excellent platform to build your networks and we would therefore encourage members who have not yet participated to attend an event and become part of the ICAS professional community.
Louise Crawford CA, Chair of the Tayside Area Committee
Louise is an academic in the School of Business at the University of
Dundee. After completing her PhD at Edinburgh University, Louise was a
post-doctoral research scientist at St Andrews University; she then
trained with KPMG to become a member of ICAS in 1995. Louise’s teaches
and researches in the areas of: international financial reporting;
professional accountancy education; and NGO governance and
accountability. In addition to chairing the Tayside Area Committee,
Louise was appointed to the Research Committee of ICAS in 2011 and
served for six years as a member of the Student Education Committee of
ICAS until February 2012.
