A firm of chartered tax advisors and accountants based in the Borders region has won a top award at a recent accountancy awards.
Selkirk-based Stark
Main & Co came top in the Community category of the recent UK Accountancy
Firm of the Year Awards.
Stark Main & Co Director Ian Main CA was presented with a
certificate at the recent National Accountants Conference in Birmingham.
“I am absolutely delighted to accept the award on behalf of the
firm,” said Main, “and proud of the difference we have made to our local and
global community since forming the firm in 2006.”
The award was sponsored by AVN, an association of independent UK
accountants. The overall winner and category winners are chosen by their peers,
from different sized accountancy practices all over the UK.
Stark Main were overall winners of the Accountancy Firm of the
Year Award in 2011 and were also shortlisted in this year’s Scottish
Accountancy Awards.
