At the heart of this year’s ICAS Conference is the sharing of wisdom and professional insights, says Anton Colella.
“In today's environment, hoarding knowledge ultimately erodes your power,” said Harvard Business School Professor Joseph Badaracco. “If you know something very important, the way to get power is by actually sharing it.”
These are turbulent, strange economic times. The UK is back in recession, yet unemployment is falling. The eurozone crisis rumbles on, wreaking havoc on the global economy. Trust in the professions has taken a hit, yet the need for confidence in professional guidance has never been greater.
Understanding the challenges facing business, and the route to economic recovery, requires sharing wisdom and knowledge. ICAS prides itself on providing opportunities for CAs to expand their knowledge and networks.
