    The CA Education Department at ICAS uniquely trains and examines all CA students in classes around the UK.  Our tutors create material, lead classes and prepare these students for their ICAS examinations.

    We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified accountant with an interest in accounting education, based in Edinburgh/Glasgow who believe they can communicate their technical knowledge to students. You will help educate CA students, members and others in areas of the ICAS syllabus.  The role will include teaching, marking, technical writing to update ICAS teaching material in line with syllabus changes/changes to legislation or regulation, examining technical review, quality control and may involve project work linked to education strategy. You will also have client facing responsibilities, specifically acting as the relationship manager for two or more clients and you will become involved in the delivery of e-learning material. 

    Training will be provided for delivering lectures to students, but public speaking/teaching experience would be an advantage. You must be willing to travel in order to commence work at 9.00am at venues around Scotland and further a field. The role includes some overnight travel. 

    These posts are Fixed Term contracts for 18 months.
